Our closing system uses a combination of gravity and weights to self-close sliding doors. There are no mechanical or gas springs to wear out. It is the only closer that uses a twin stainless-steel aircraft control cable for a breaking strength of 540 lbs. Once installed it will cause the door to close automatically, alleviating the possibility of a child gaining access to the pool. There is a valve adjustment on each closer to easily control the speed of the door.
The latch is simple so there are fewer parts to break. It is installed above 54” so that no little hands can open the door. It is self-latching so it must be released while the door is simultaneously pulled open with the standard door handle.
